Hello members,

I am seeking insight on the average salary of a software engineer or developer. I have recently been pursuing my software engineering and development career and I am trying to get a better understanding of the salary range and opportunities out there.

I have looked online and found some salary information from various websites but I'm hesitant to rely on that data as any salary is usually dependent upon the applicant's experience level and other external factors. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge that they can share? How has the market fared within the last year?

Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated.
